Welcome to the Discovery Circle!
Join the Discovery Circle for fun opportunities to contribute to scientific research through Citizen Science! Hands-on activities are the basis of Citizen Science projects, like searching for wildlife and recording where you found it, or collecting water samples and testing the water.
Citizen Science projects can focus on animals, like birds, bats, bees or bettongs. Or they can address how we manage local environments, from our gardens, to parks, to nature reserves.
There are a number of reasons you might get involved in a Citizen Science project. You might be fascinated by the topic of the project, or want to learn more about it. Or you might be concerned about changes you have noticed in the environment.
We are planning new, innovative projects and events to run in South Australia. Sign up for our e-newsletter to stay informed about our projects and events, so you don't miss opportunities to participate!
You can help us plan new projects and events! If you live in South Australia and you are at least 18 years old, please complete our online survey - there are $50 gift vouchers for ten people (randomly selected) who complete the survey at: http://bit.ly/Discovery-Circle-Survey.
